EASI Software Operation Using Windows®XP
EASI is a DOS program and may not work properly with Windows®XP operating system. To use EASI with this platform it is recommended that you create an MS-DOS startup disk, as follows:
1. Format a floppy disk
• From the Windows® startup screen, double
click on "My Computer."
• Insert a floppy disk in drive A.
• Right click A drive and select Format.
• In the Format window, select "Create
an MS-DOS startup disk."
• A "Warning" may appear
advising that you will lose all your data on drive A. Click OK.
• Once drive A is formatted, close the
Format window.
2. Copy EASI to the floppy disk
• Insert the AMS CD that was shipped
with your product.
• Your browser will automatically
startup. Close your browser.
• "AMS CD" will appear as one of your
drives. Right click on it and select "Explore."
• Click and drag the EASI folder to
drive A. EASI will be copied to the floppy disk.

• Download EASI from our website to
a directory on your hard drive.
• From your file manager, copy EASI
onto drive A.

Starting EASI
• Reboot your computer with the floppy in drive
A.
• At the prompt A:\> type CD EASI and hit
the Enter key.
• The prompt will return: A:\EASI>. Type
EASI, hit the
Enter key and EASI will startup.
